About Nirvana Yoga Shhala

“NIRVANA YOGA SHHALA, Mysore” (Previously known as Mystic School) Yoga and Meditation center founded by Dr. Shashi Kumar in 2006. Since then center is offering Regular Classes and Teacher Training in Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and philosophy to Indians and foreigners. The Centre also organizes International Certification teaching training for aspiring Yoga Professionals.The center is based in Gokulam and offers accommodation, food and weekend trips.

The founder Dr. Shashi Kumar has conducted workshops in many countries USA, Greece, Iran and Europe. We have been teaching Different Forms of yoga and mainly HATHA / ASHTANGA VINYASA.Nirvana Yoga Shhala is similar to secret mystery school which existed in Ancient India. The work of Mystery school is the collaboration of east and west.

The founder is deeply influenced by 3 greatest master of the spiritual world PATHANJALI, OSHO and GURDJIEFF.

In order to attain the highest form of spirituality , we need to have physical, astral, mental and spiritual aspects altogether. Only one aspect of practice is not enough. Yoga Asana (postures) can purify the body, Pranayama and Meditation can purify emotions and thoughts and Philosophy can develop intellect. For overall development of mankind, simultaneous work on all the aspects is required.
